Nifty could be the voice of reason for his reckless brothers, always reminding them to be careful and not get themselves into trouble. What if they had a third brother that the fans don't yet know about? What if this third brother was a bit of a tech genius and was able to help Lifty and Shifty with their latest schemes? This character could be named Nifty and would be a raccoon with glasses, a pocket watch, and a love of computers and technology.
However, they always bounce back and continue their hijinks. They are often seen getting into trouble and getting hurt in the process. In the Happy Tree Friends universe, Lifty and Shifty are a pair of mischievous anthropomorphic raccoon twins who enjoy causing chaos and havoc.
